I’ve spent the past 15 years working in the mental health field, supporting folks through eating disorders, substance use, and the many complex, tender parts of being human.
I’m a Midwest native who fell in love with both the ocean and desert - two places that remind me to breathe a little deeper and slow things down.
Outside of therapy, I spend as much time as I can in nature with my husband and our dog Tilly. I love interior design and the cozy ritual of making a house feel like a home. I’m often thrifting for little treasures, making flower bouquets for no reason at all, and chasing sunsets.
About Me
I am a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor in California (LPCC #16370) and a Clinical Mental Health Counselor in Utah (#14237438-6004). I hold a Master of Science in Professional Clinical Counseling from Lindenwood University, as well as a Bachelor of Science in Psychology with a minor in Health Studies from Southern Illinois University.
I have nearly 15 years of experience specializing in the treatment of eating disorders, having worked across multiple levels of care including inpatient, residential, partial hospitalization, intensive outpatient, and outpatient settings. This depth of experience allows me to support clients with both the complexity and nuance these concerns often require, while honoring each person’s unique relationship to food, body, and self.
My clinical focus also includes neurodivergent-affirming care and complex trauma, with ongoing specialized training through PESI. I have completed training in somatic and parts-based approaches, supporting clients in reconnecting with their bodies, cultivating internal safety, and gently tending to the parts of themselves shaped by trauma and survival.
I am committed to continued learning and growth, regularly engaging in ongoing education and consultation. Above all, I believe healing happens through safety, connection, and the nurturance of even the most hidden or shame-filled parts of ourselves.
